Hi, my name is Fred Kison and I am a Pastor and Strategic Christian leader with fifteen years of Pastoral Ministry experience who lives with his wife and two youngest sons in Sarasota, Florida. I lived and served as a church planter/senior pastor in the greater Pittsburgh, Pa. area after serving for twenty years as a career Paramedic and Flight Paramedic.
Currently, I serve as a Care Pastor overseeing Groups, Prayer Teams and Care Mentors/Spiritual Life Coaches at Bayside Community Church-Lakewood Ranch as well as an Adjunct Professor at Bayside College in ministry and theology. Additionally, my wife Lorrie and I have six boys total and love the outdoors, the beach, Golf, Hockey and all things Florida. We love life and people with passion and consider ourselves blessed in every way.
I am in the final phase of this D.Min, my cognate is Homiletics, Biblical Preaching and Teaching and definitely look forward to this journey and seeing how God is going to guide me through the Micro Project phase and season.
